How Does Google Prepare Search Page Index?

Google’s computer programs are continually surfing the internet, collecting information and preparing an index of all the posts with similar keywords. The moment you type your keyword Google will display a list of posts with your typed keyword. This article will teach you how to get your post on Google index pages.

What Is SEO?

If you write a post and want it to appear on Google search pages then your post must include the keywords that people are most likely to type in the search box. Moreover, you would want your post to appear as far as possible near the top of the search page displayed. Besides keywords, there are a number of other factors to be implemented in your post to get higher indexing on search pages. Implementing these factors to get optimum results is called search engine optimization or SEO. This article will teach you the various techniques and provide expert tips.

What Is Search Page Position?

There are multiple posts with similar keywords on the internet on any particular subject. Every post will get a different place from the top to the bottom on any given search page index. A position on the search page index is called search page position. The posts at the top of the index page will always get the most number of visitors. This article provides insights on how to get higher positions.

What Is Search Page Rank?

Every post written on a particular keyword if graded will get a different score. This score is called the search page rank. But one can only get a higher score if familiar with the grading process. This article throws light on all the factors used in the grading or ranking process.

What Is The Big Secret?

Once again since the work of ranking is done by computer programs one needs to know the parameters that are used for grading. This post provides all the hidden secrets that are used by Google to give search page rank and search page position to your post. The article first covers the easier things that can be implemented by everyone and then moves on to items that are more technical.

Factor #1: Original Content

Post original content only. Borrow as many ideas but write content in your own words. Content that is directly copied from other sources is called plagiarism and is shunned by Google and the post is immediately blacklisted. Always do a plagiarism test before publishing your content. Make the content interesting to keep the viewer engrossed as Google keeps track of the time a person spends on your post. More time spent by a visitor on your post is interpreted as valuable and interesting content and vice versa. To use FREE online plagiarism testing software: CLICK HERE

Factor #2: Viewer Experience

Include images and videos wherever possible to make the post interesting. A post size of 500 to 800 words is considered to be the best for viewer experience. Divide the content into a number of paragraphs. Provide only one appropriate main-heading and a number of sub-headings. Use different colors for various types of headings so as to make an attractive appearance. Holding the visitor on your post for a longer time is most pleasing to Google computer programs that will reward you with higher page rank and higher search page position. Factor #3: Keywords

Google computer programs pick only 5 keywords from any single post. If you type your subject keyword in Google’s search box a drop-down list of similar phrases will appear. These are the phrases or keywords people are typing to find posts with the subject you have chosen. Choose the most appropriate 5 keyword phrases and use them in your post. Factor #4: Keyword Density

Do not go on excessively repeating your keywords too many times in your post as Google’s programs don’t like stuffing behavior. Use each keyword or keyword phrase around 5 to seven times in your post and spread it in different paragraphs. The ratio of keywords to other text words in your post is called keyword density. Google scorns too high keyword density. Keyword density of less than 2% is recommended. It is recommended to incorporate keywords in the main-heading and sub-headings but don’t make the phrase too long. To check keyword density: CLICK HERE

Factor #5: Provision for Sharing

Provide social media sharing buttons at the top or bottom of the post or even at both ends. Google interprets the action of sharing by a visitor as valuable and interesting content. Request your friends to share your posts on social media platforms.

Factor #6: Build External Links and Social Links

When the address to your post or your post URL is posted on another blog or website it creates an external link pointing to your post. When this is done on a social media site it creates a link pointing to your post that is called as a social link. Links on reputed sites pointing to your post are considered valuable by Google’s computer programs and rewarded handsomely. However, links pointing to your post on low-quality sites are frowned upon leading to negative effect. There are some reputed sites that offer good quality paid external or backlinks but most are best avoidable. To try a site that offers best quality backlinks: CLICK HERE

Factor #7: Promote Your Post

Sharing your post on all social media platforms has limitations as it will reach to your friends and followers only. Some of them may share your post and spread it further. Using social media traffic exchanges caters to this limitation giving you the opportunity to share your post to an unlimited number of people. Factor #8: Embrace Google

No one can succeed on the internet without pleasing Google. Almost 98% of web traffic is routed through Google. To consider all factors that are pleasing to Google is an essential element of SEO and not optional. Rebelling against Google’s way of functioning will not get you anywhere. This is more so for those relying on advertising income. The most reliable way of earning money from your posts is through Google ads. All others are mediocre. If you are promoting your own products then it’s a different matter. Sharing your posts on Google’s social media platforms like G+ and others has its own benefits.

Factor #9: Post Content Regularly

Post fresh content regularly so that Google’s programs keep on visiting your site. Google loves fresh content and is looking for it all the time. Google should get the impression that your site is live and running. It gives preference to regular posting sites over sites that are dormant when it comes to post ranking and giving search page positions. Making multiple drafts of the same post is helpful but each should pass the plagiarism test.

Factor #10: Prevent Content Theft

There are rogue sites that surf the internet stealing content immediately after it is published. Share your post on social media platforms immediately after publishing so that your sharing time gets recorded on various sites. Google will track and compare the timings on various sites to detect the original content owner. To get your post indexed within minutes of publish use FREE Google Webmasters Tools and submit your post. To go to Google Webmasters: CLICK HERE

Factor #11: Use Copy Paste Protection

We have developed a special script code which when placed in your blog or website will disable Copy Paste function on your posts. If you are a website owner place the file in the CSS folder. If you are using Blogger or Wordpress click on gadgets and select 'HTML/JavaScript'. Then post the code that is given in the 'content' box and click save. To get the code: CLICK HERE

Factor #12: HTML Tags

To understand this part one needs to have a basic knowledge of HTML tags.

Post Address Link: Incorporate the main keywords but keep as short as possible. Separate words by using a hyphen only. Do not use underscore, numbers and special characters.

Meta Tags: Tags that are placed in the head section of the post are called Meta tags.

Meta Title Tag: Incorporate main keyword or phrase in the title Meta tag. Meta tag title should be limited to 75 characters.

Meta Description Tag: Place a brief description in the description tag which is appealing to visitors. This will be displayed on the Google search page. The visitor will make a decision to visit your post or not based on the description. Incorporate some of your keywords without lowering the appeal value. Meta tag description should be limited to 170 characters.

Body Tags: Tags that are placed in the body section of the post are called body tags.

Heading Tags: Use h1 heading tag only once in a post. Use h2 heading tag at least 5 times. Use h3 and h4 tags wherever appropriate.

Title Tag: Place a keyword phrase in the title tag of every link in your post.

Alt Tag: Place a keyword phrase in the alt tag of every image in your post.

Anchor Text: Incorporate keywords in the anchor text of internal and external links that are placed in your post.

Optional: Use rel=”nofollow” attribute when placing third party links in your post that have no allegiance to you especially advertisers.

Image Names: Use keyword phrase to name images placed in your post.

Things to Avoid

1. Do not stuff top of the post with numerous advertisements or external links.
2. Avoid cloaking. Providing one type of content to visitors and another type of content to Google programs is called cloaking. This can be done by using tiny letters, making texts invisible using matching colors or through other methods.
